Transfer Item

This option is a utility program that will allow you to transfer item information from one item to another. Both item codes must exist in the system prior to using this option.

You may enter item code transfers at any time during the day. Enter all transfers in the order in which you want them to occur.

The actual updating of all files will occur after all other End of Day Processing has been completed, if End of Day (EOD) -Transfer Utilities is set to Y (Y = Yes) in Close End of Day.

After transferring all information to the new item code, the old item will be deleted and all transaction records, tables, and system settings will be moved and changed to the new item.

Old Item ID	The old item ID code to transfer.
New Item ID	The new item ID code to transfer the old record to.
